Difference between hydraulic selection and pump selection browser

Created by Mathias Scherwenk, Modified on Thu, 23 Jan at 2:41 PM by Mathias Scherwenk

In the hydraulic selection via the area of application, the complete design and configuration of the pump system is carried out according to specified operating conditions with operating point and additional parameters. Configuration options that do not apply or are unsuitable, such as performance charts in particular, are not presented. This allows a quick and targeted selection, so to say “filter-based”.

In contrast, the Pump selection browser (Direct product selection) allows free access directly via the series and type designation. The configuration is offered in its maximum form. This allows maximum flexibility, which also enables experienced users to make selections, e.g. in borderline areas. Even if certain restrictions may already exist due to application limits, for example, users should have correspondingly in-depth knowledge in order to avoid impermissible or unrealizable configurations.
